With Memorial Day approaching, most major theme parks in the Bay Area and Southern California have either reopened from COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns or plan to before the holiday.
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk have already welcomed visitors back, and California’s Great America in Santa Clara and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord will reopen in mid-May. Most Southern California theme parks have opened their gates as well.
